东华大学先进低维材料中心诚聘化学、物理及材料等领域有志于投身科研教育事业的青年研究员。
一、中心概况
东华大学先进低维材料中心（以下简称“中心”）是东华大学直属研究机构，于2015年10月成立。中心主任兼首席科学家（荣誉）由国际高分子科学界的领军人物、美国工程院院士程正迪教授担任。先进低维材料追求材料的性能极限——更细、更薄、更轻、更柔、更强，其通过对物质或能量的调控为人类提供性能更优异的基础材料。中心的建设目标为“人才汇聚、学科交叉、技术集成、高效运行、原始创新、国际一流”。中心旨在立足东华大学学科优势，以国际低维材料研究前沿为先导，以国家和上海发展战略需求为动力，重点开展低维材料的基础及应用基础等研究，力争在能源开发、环境保护、国防军工等领域形成原始创新成果并实现产业化，积极为国家创新驱动发展战略实施和上海科创中心建设作贡献。
东华大学（原华东纺织工学院）是教育部直属、国家“211工程”重点建设的高等院校。经过65年的办学历程，学校已经从建校之初的一所纺织单科院校发展成为以工为主，工、理、管、文等学科协调发展的有特色的全国重点大学。学校地处中国上海，现有松江校区、延安路校区和新华路校区，占地面积近2000亩，校园环境优美，系“上海市花园单位”。中心所处的松江校区紧邻地铁站、高速口，拥有生态化、人文化、信息化、现代化为一体的美丽校园，校区中心100 余亩的镜月湖为“国家生态水利风景区”。 松江校区配套东华大学附属实验学校，依托东华大学优质教育资源，为东华子弟提供便利、优良的教育服务。松江区是江南著名的鱼米之乡，自古为宜居之地，区内广富林古文化遗址，被谓为“上海之根”。如今建设的松江新城规划科学、设施齐全、生活便利。

Multiple Faculty Positions Available
The center for advanced low-dimension materials at Donghua University (CALM) is founded in October 2015. As a research institute dedicated to fundamental researches and innovative high-tech applications of advanced low-dimension materials, CALM sincerely invites applications for senior PI and PI positions in the corresponding research fields, such as material science, chemistry, physics, nanotechnology, polymer science, etc. The criteria for selection will be proven by the potential for collaborative, interdisciplinary researches within the broad material science and engineering community at Donghua University, and will contribute to advancing the higher education mission.
Applicants for senior PI must possess a full professor position in major universities or research institutes, and should provide strong evidence of internationally recognized research achievement and an absolute track record in obtaining external funding and graduate mentorship. Applicants for regular PI are required to possess a doctoral degree in related fields and at least two years of postdoctoral experience, and have to demonstrate the ability to do pioneering research independently. The successful candidates will have a competitive startup package and will develop a research program that will leverage and expand up on the capabilities of the CALM.
